As a photographer, there’s something extra special about getting to document the milestones of people you love — and this UT Austin graduation session was one of those unforgettable moments. Capturing my best friend Sabrina’s Master’s graduation photos was not only an honor but a true celebration of her resilience, passion, and heart.
Sabrina recently earned her Master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin — all while working full-time and advocating for underserved communities. She’s strong, determined, and driven by purpose. As the Director of Public Policy and Advocacy, she spends much of her time at the Texas Capitol, using her voice to create real, lasting change. So when it came to choosing the perfect location for her senior session, it was only fitting that we included the Capitol building as part of her story.
We started her UT Austin senior photo session on campus to honor where this journey began, then made our way downtown to the Capitol for a powerful and symbolic backdrop. Between laughter, storytelling, and a few emotional moments, we captured the essence of who Sabrina is: a brilliant woman, a fierce advocate, and a loyal friend.
As an Austin senior photographer, these are the sessions that fuel my passion. The ones where purpose meets personality. Where we celebrate not just academic achievement, but the path it took to get there.
